Welcome

My name is Celeste Schexnaydre MA, ATR-BC, NCC and I am a Board Certified Art Therapist and National Certified Counselor with over 20 years of experience providing services to individuals and groups. I work with both children and adults helping to facilitate emotional release and awareness through creative expression. I specialize in the safe release of difficult feelings that verbal therapies may not be able to reach. Through the use of art therapy, I guide clients to heal through issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment disorders and trauma. I also work with other primary clinicians and co-treat. My services also include art therapy assessments which can help to identify goals for treatment. I am happy to collaborate with other professionals to determine the best level of care and expressive therapy treatment approaches either for the individual practitioner or multi-disciplinarian team. I strongly believe in the power of creativity to heal and change lives. I have had the privilege of witnessing art and creative expression bring growth, renewal and replenishment to so many lives both young and old, across many cultures and amongst all talents and gifts! I also enjoy consulting and offering art therapy sessions for wellness, personal enrichment and insight. Please call or e-mail with any questions or or to schedule an appointment.
